Newsletter #01 - 10th May 2016

Welcome to our new newsletter. Every 2 weeks we'll be highlighting the work that we are doing in PlayTank, our appearances in media and press, customer focus stories as well as what's going on in the industry.

Over the last 18 months we've been working tirelessly to create our idea capture and collective collaboration tool, enabling organisations to explore and design innovations at any scale and we're excited to now start sharing our successes and some of the stories throughout our journey to date.

Innovation Spotlight

We've recently begun our Innovation Spotlight where we broadcast live from innovation spaces, start-ups and other places around Dublin and Ireland that showcase the best in innovation and collaboration. Our spotlights are casual video chats done as a live Facebook broadcast. They are available to view in the innovation spotlight category of our blog.

PlayTank In The Press

The last week has seen PlayTank get our name out in a big way in the media. Toby & Andy were interviewed by Aidan McCullen, Head of Innovation Partnerships and Funding at RTÉ for the very first episode of RTÉ's new innovation show. We talked about the platform and how it will help large organisations. The full interview with Toby and Andy will be available soon, in the meantime you can listen to the podcast here.

Silicon Republic, Ireland's no. 1 technology news website featured PlayTank as this week's 'Start-up of the week.' Their editor John Kennedy gave us a fantastic write up which showcased not only the potential of the platform but also the need in the market and the strengths of our team. Work In Progress

We'll shortly be moving into our new space on the RTÉ campus in Donnybrook in their new innovation center and are looking forward to helping them with their innovation and cultural change programs. We also recently attended the BlockChain breakfast run by Chainsmiths in conjunction with the IDA with fintech applications for Blockchain being the hot topic at the event as well as applicatons for other industries. Meanwhile development is moving rapidly with our CTO working with the entire team and some of our clients to make the final tweaks before our launch in Q3 of this year. We're really looking forward to the end of August when our customers will get the chance to see how their input has improved the platform and made PlayTank even better.
